Support Jenny's Life-Saving Transplants
My mother, Jenny Wright-Hewitt, has been approved for a heart and double lung transplant at NWU in Chicago! Now the challenge is to make sure she can afford the out of pocket expenses, which include the following:
- Relocating to another state for a year
- Required weekly follow up appointments at NWU Chicago
- Transportation from KU Hospital to NWU
- Two round the clock care takers for a year
- Long-term rehabilitation
Since I was little, my mother has been burdened with medical problems limiting her day to day functioning. Despite having Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, and Multiple Sclerosis, she has showed up for her family and community time and time again.
My mother is the most selfless, loving, and determined woman you will ever meet. Jenny is a mother of three young children, a mental health professional, and a local non-profit founder. No donation is too small. Thank you for supporting my mother in anyway you can!
