Hi, my name is Kaylynn, and the woman in the photo is Jenny. She is my best friend Kali’s mom.

My best friend has already lost her father to cancer, and then—just a year later—her stepdad passed away suddenly. Now, her mom has been fighting stage 4 cancer. The treatment has caused diabetes, and the diabetes has led to kidney issues.

I’ve watched my best friend cry, grieve, and live in constant fear of losing her last remaining parent—her mom, who is also her best friend. Kali put her own life on pause to care for her mom, and now they need help more than ever.

Insurance is no longer covering much, and the cost of treatment has become overwhelming. With being unable to work and on partial disability money is tight. They are being forced to choose between paying bills and life-saving care. We’ve cried together, and all I want is to help my best friend save her mom.
