Hello. My name is Jenn. I lost my husband to suicide almost two years ago. Since then, I have been working on my own reason to survive this crazy thing called life. Because, let's face it, life is SUPER hard. People can be mean. Media can be scary. There's so much hate and negativity in the world.

Then Spirit gave me a purpose. A reason to keep getting out of bed every morning. A reason to actually interact with other human beings again instead of isolating with my dogs. This is where Spirit Sanctuary began, and I packed my car up with my belongings and my dogs, and moved from Washington State to Alabama.

Spirit Sanctuary, once opened, will provide a respite for the soul; a place where people can come to lay down their electronics and detangle from their social media. I envision a place where people can just breathe. Go for a hike, read a book, get a massage, sit by a campfire, take a cooking class. Discover, or rediscover, who you are and what you want from your life.

To do this, I need funding. I'm ready to take on a mortgage to start turning this dream into reality, but I need the initial down payment. Once the property is secured, I'll begin building Spirit Sanctuary from the ground up. And it will be magnificent!
