Jenn had a double stroke with brain bleed January 2024 and we thought we were on the road to recovery and starting to recoup some of the toll that those took financially with Chris missing work to be with Jenn and then this past Saturday March 1, 2025 Jenn suffered another stroke and got admitted to Emory and they did several test due to she was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease with her last strokes , only to find for this stroke she has a blocked artery on the right side of her brain. They were going to do surgery in her neck until they discovered it was high up in her brain unreachable without cracking her skull open. At this moment due to that they are trying medication therapy for a few months and then will reassess treatment and use a guided probe from her wrist or leg to go up to the artery in her brain to fix the blockage. We have always been self sustainable financially while always enjoying to give to others- we like to give than receive, but at this time we are having to ask for help which is hard for us- we rather be giving but with all the medication cost, medical bills, food , gas, parking at the hospital with Chris not working it has unfortunately taken a toll on us financially.
