Support Jenn’s Cancer Recovery

At the end of last year, after navigating the devastating aftermath of the July floods; losing my home and all of the family’s vehicles, I was diagnosed with an extremely rare very aggressive sarcomatoid cancer. It required a national panel of experts to even diagnose. There is currently no standard treatment for this particular type due to its rarity and moving forward was experimental with no real outcome probabilities to hold onto.

The treatment attempted was based on a few case studies and a currently running study out of Washington. It was a rigorous and challenging schedule of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for several months. Thankfully the tumor responded to the treatment but, because of how aggressive this type of cancer is, there will still need to be a major surgery in the near future, and possible continued treatment afterwards.

All of this has prohibited me from being able to work and stay financially stable. The surgery and expected recovery will only exacerbate the situation. This GoFundMe was created to ease the burden and provide support for medical expenses, housing, food, and general needs. It will allow me to heal and return to my community as quickly as possible.
