Hi! My name is Katelyn & I have NEVER reached out to do something like this before, but I feel like this may be my only option to help. My mother, Jennifer, has been struggling with back pains & has recently been scheduled to have surgery after finding out her spine has an extra disc which has caused them to become inflamed & now are diagnosed as “bulging discs.” She has been waiting to be approved by her insurance for her surgery for some months now, while doing epidural injections 1-2 times a month to help get her by in the meantime.

It is now not even a week into the new year & her surgery has finally been approved by her insurance (yayyy or you’d think) since it’s the beginning of the year - her deductible has started over & they are demanding $7,500 BEFORE they will do anything - no payment plan can be set up or anything. We don’t really expect anything to come from this, but all I can do is try…. My mother is my rock. She also has my 7-year-old little brother who she is the world to & needs a lot of her time, energy & effort. All I want is to give her the best ability to continue to live her day-to-day life.
