Jennifer got to leave the rehab center today to do a trial run at the house, She was able to get from her wheelchair to her bed, get in the shower chair and back to her wheelchair, she has plenty of space to roam around in the kitchen, I think she enjoyed her car ride today and getting to come home even if it was for a short time. My niece, Jennifer, is a strong and determined 20-year-old who has always brought so much light to our family. On September 17, 2025, her life changed in an instant when she was involved in a serious car accident. The injuries she sustained were extensive: a stroke on the right side, surgery on her left forearm, two surgeries on her right foot, left hip, stents, and a traumatic brain injury. Despite these challenges, Jennifer is making baby steps in her recovery every day, and we are so proud of her resilience and fighting spirit.
Jennifer’s journey to recovery will be long and difficult, but she continues to inspire us with her courage. The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward her medical expenses, travel for treatments, and anything she will need once she is able to return home. Every bit of support will help ease the burden on Jennifer and our family as we focus on her healing.
Traumatic brain injury is very serious. She does have a long road ahead of her and with your help we can get her there. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and for standing with Jennifer during this time.
