Hi! I'm Stephanie and my twin sister, Jennifer, is in need of a handicap accessible van with an electric ramp and a swivel driver's seat. These vehicles are costly! I have found several used ones for decent prices that I'd like to purchase for my sister! If I could afford to buy this for her myself I most certainly would but unfortunately I can't! This is where I am hoping and praying that with the help of our family, friends and community we will be able to get the funds to purchase her a Van that will suit her needs.

Jennifer just had her second neck surgery since February 2025. Her doctor gave her two options, have a second surgery or lose the use of your hands. Losing the use her hands isn't an option for her. Her arms and upper body is how she transfers from her wheelchair to her Van and other places in her home. She's always had incredible upper body strength but over time with her neck issues it's become extremely difficult for her to be able to pick herself with her arms and transfer from her wheelchair to her Van because the Van is much higher than her wheelchair.

Years ago she was able to go from her wheelchair to walking with her prosthetics and crutches but with the pain in her neck and shoulders and the numbness in her hands getting so bad she's had to go back to using her wheelchair.

She's never liked asking for help. She's always been a don't tell me I can't do something because she's gonna find a way to prove to you that she can. She's the strongest person I know and most deserving person to receive a handicap accessible van.

If we find a Van for less than the funds we collect the extra will go towards a cement pad for her to park on.

Will you help us give my sister her independence back?? No donation is to small. Every little bit will help. If you know of a church or business that could help it would be greatly appreciated. If you can't donate pray we can meet her need.
