I have been suffering from PTSD and the loss of my 7-year-old son, Jairod, for a little over four years. While counselors and psychologists have helped me along the way, I still find myself searching for that final push to get through the mental struggle and heartache. This journey has been incredibly difficult, and I know that healing takes time and support from others.
In May, I will be attending a one-month mental wellness center that specializes in trauma, loss, and helping people refocus their purpose in life. During this time, I will receive 60% of my pay, but I am worried about falling behind on my bills and everyday expenses. Any extra support will be helpful to assist with expenses while I am there, allowing me to focus fully on my healing and recovery. The treatment itself will be $6000 out network, which I'll have time to pay.
My pride often keeps me from asking for help, but I am reaching out now for love and support during this time. If you are able to contribute or share my story, it would mean the world to me. Thank you for being here and for offering your kindness as I take this important step toward healing.
