Support Jennifer's Fight Against Melanoma

My name is Shon Dornsife, and I am reaching out on behalf of my mother, Jennifer Dornsife. In October 2022, Jen was diagnosed with a rare form of skin melanoma.

Despite undergoing two local tissue removal surgeries, radiation, and immunotherapy, a PET scan in July 2023 revealed that the cancer had returned, this time in her lungs. A subsequent lung biopsy confirmed our worst fears: the cancer had progressed to stage IV. Last week's PET scan and brain MRI brought more disheartening news: lesions were found in her liver, groin, lungs, and brain. Jennifer is now scheduled for radiation treatment at City of Hope for her brain, followed by a hopeful treatment in Mexico, and additional therapy at St. John’s Hospital in the US. The treatment in Mexico, which is crucial for her fight against cancer, costs $35,000 – an amount that has to be paid entirely upfront.

In our quest to provide Jennifer with the most advanced and comprehensive care, we have identified a clinic in Mexico that offers a pioneering four-part protocol for cancer treatment. Her role in our family and community of friends and loved ones is irreplaceable, and her presence is a source of joy and strength for many. It's no secret how much we all love Jenny, & how much she loves us.
