Jennifer Lee Maldonado is a 39-year-old single mother living in Harlingen, TX, with her two children, Mia (16) and JJ (14). Jennifer has always been a devoted mom, working hard to provide for her family and support her kids in everything they do. Recently, her life has been turned upside down by a series of serious health challenges. She is currently battling heart and kidney failure, as well as leukemia. Jennifer is undergoing iron and blood transfusions and is on the kidney transplant list, facing a long and uncertain road ahead.
