I am a family friend helping the Chastain family navigate these heartbreaking and uncertain times.
Just a few short weeks ago, Jennifer began experiencing severe headaches and unexpected falls. On October 28th, doctors discovered a brain mass, and she underwent surgery on November 4th. The diagnosis that followed was devastating — a Grade 4 Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
Jennifer is now beginning the fight of her life. She will be unable to work for the foreseeable future as she focuses on treatment and recovery. Her husband, Chip, will serve as her full-time caregiver, which will also limit his ability to work and provide income for their household.
The Chastains are facing an unimaginable emotional and financial burden. Your prayers, love, and support mean more than words can say. If you’re able, please consider donating to help ease the financial stress of medical bills, travel expenses, and daily living costs as Jennifer fights this battle.
No amount is too small — every act of kindness brings them one step closer to hope and healing.
