My name is Lisa, and 25 years ago, two people fell in love, and I was blessed to gain two new sisters. As some of you know, my sister Jennifer has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Jennifer and the family have been waiting to find out the course of treatment she will need, and we have just gotten the news. According to her physicians, she will need 4 rounds of chemo, each lasting 21 days, and then will need a mastectomy. For those of you who know Jennifer and Matt, you know this would never be something they ask for themselves, which is why I feel this call to reach out on their behalf. This diagnosis is so much to process and deal with on its own, without the feeling of the financial burden of it as well. They have already had issues with the insurance company so the out of pocket expense is just something I would love to take off their plate, but it’s just something that cannot be done alone. I would love for the community surrounding our families to come together to help lighten the load so they can focus on treatment and healing. Any amount will help so much, but we understand that some cannot donate, so we ask that you lift Jennifer up in prayer, along with Matt, Micah, and Roey.
