Hello, my name is Madison Laney and I am writing this on behalf of my family.
As many of you know, my beautiful mother, Jennifer Laney, was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer in April of 2021. She was admitted to City of Hope and underwent extensive surgery and multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
After a period of hope where it was believed she was cancer-free, our family recently received the devastating news that the cancer has returned and is now spreading. She will be starting chemotherapy in the coming weeks, beginning yet another fight against cancer.
One of the many hurdles she faces is the potential loss of her hair, which can be an emotional and difficult part of the process. To help her maintain her sense of self during this time, we are seeking support to cover the costs of cold capping therapy. Cold capping can significantly reduce hair loss during chemotherapy, and can provide my mom with comfort and dignity as she navigates her treatment.
Unfortunately, the cost of cold capping, combined with mounting medical expenses, is a significant financial burden. Any contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference and help alleviate some stress so she can remain focused on her health while still being present, confident and smiling.
Your kindness, prayers and generosity mean more than words can express during this time.
