Support Jennifer’s battle with ovarian cancer

Hello, my name is Elenna and I am the eldest daughter of five children in our family. Our mom is the glue that holds all of us together and in November 2021, she was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer after initially going in to have a hysterectomy, completely blindsiding us. After losing our grandmother to cancer the previous year, we were terrified of the worst. When realizing the extent of her diagnosis, she was rescheduled to have a debulking surgery in December 2021 in hopes of scraping out most of the cancerous tissue which was somewhat successful. In the time since though, our mom has undergone 6 rounds of chemotherapy, endured multiple hospital stays, has had recurrent thoracentesis procedures, countless doctor’s visits and still has been there every step of the way for us kids and her newborn granddaughter. This past week though, things have taken a turn for the worse as our mom has been admitted to the hospital again for pericardial & pleural effusions as well as CO2 toxicity due to pneumonia which has been intensified by her cancer.

Our mom is a light and the most generous, loving, beautiful woman that we could have ever been blessed with to call our mom. Setting this fundraiser up to help with my mom’s medical expenses, bills, and taking care of my 4 younger siblings is the last thing we thought we would ever have to do. We appreciate any little amount to help ease the stress for when she is hopefully discharged as well as making sure my siblings are well taken care of while she is receiving the best care for her. She has a long road to recovery but she’s a fighter .
