Recently, Jen was diagnosed with a large liposarcoma in her abdomen, a rare and aggressive cancer. Despite this, she has tried to keep life as normal as possible, showing incredible strength and resilience.

Jen will undergo major abdominal surgery at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Her pre-op appointment is August 27th, with surgery scheduled for September 5th. Afterward, she will be out of work for nearly two months as she recovers and adjusts to her new normal.
