Hello. My name is Jennifer Kinsey. I've been married to my husband, Stephen Kinsey, for 24 years. He's had 3 strokes and has disabilities. I have cognitive and other neurological issues that make it impossible mentally and physically to understand ways to be able to replace and fix things.

We're both on SSDI and need financial assistance in making our home accessible to enter in and out of the front door. It would help if the sidewalk was widened for me to assist my husband into the home, plus the steps, railings, storm door, and back door are in need of replacement. We have balance issues, trying to stand up, and many falls. I'm not able to lift my husband. Needed would be a supportive bed on the main floor. Getting up and down steps is difficult. It's been overwhelming.

Inside, we need items that will make our home stable due to weakness and balance issues, with possibly more handrails, a wheelchair, etc. Anything to get safely from one place to another. We are alone with these needs. We want to keep trying to help each other without burdening other people. I have tried contractors, and we just can't afford their prices. The costs are substantial. I'm having severe panic attacks, physical and mental breakdowns trying to keep up. I am of no help in this situation. Please help if you are able.
