Support Jennifer Rapp's Battle with Stage 4 NSCLC

My name is Jennifer Rapp and I have Stage 4 NSCLC with SVC syndrome. I was fortunate enough to find a wonderful surgeon for my SVC and have had stent placement. I was working for Labcorp at the time of my diagnosis and had health insurance.

For those who have been following my journey through my cancer treatments, my tumors are shrinking and I've been blessed with a great support system. My husband, Lloyd, had to take early retirement and I, of course, had to resign. I applied to Medicaid and Medicare but my benefits won't start till October 2025 since I am a young 57. My husband and I pay $903.00 a month for my COBRA through Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

We are asking for help to continue to pay for my insurance. Lloyd started working again, but every 21 days he is home taking care of me for 8 days. My treatment makes me very ill on days 5,6,7,8 and he is by my side through it all. I am not able to work at all so we rely on his income. I have reached out to numerous agencies for some kind of premium payment relief, but have had no success. We are asking for some help to keep my insurance paid till Medicare kicks in.
