Update: Unfortunately Jenn lost her battle very sudden and unexpected yesterday morning, Jenn did not have any life insurance and this sudden passing has caused a huge burden on her family. Jenn deserves to have something so her family and friends can pay their respects and get closure on a life that was taken from us way to soon. Any donations will be appreciated and go directly to the final arrangements for Jenn.

Dear family and friends, it brings me such sadness to let you ask know that our family has been dealing with a heavy burden. Our wonderful and loving mother, wife, and best friend Jennifer Northrup was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been in a great deal of pain over these past several weeks.

Her pain started several weeks ago,and we were unfortunately brushed off and bounced between doctors and hospitals,recently she was transferred to a cancer center to try and find out more answers.

Her husband Rob has been by her side every single day, despite the emotional toll Rob along with her children Erica and Logan are making the 2 hour drive back and forth to be there for information from doctors and testing that will give us more answers.Rob also has been unable to work so that way he can be by her side in this critical time to help care for her.

Anyone who knows Jenn knows that she's the type of person who would give you the shirt of her back- the kind of person who'd never ask for help herself- being the one who's always giving care as that is what her job consisted of daily (working in group homes caring for individuals with disabilities).

Jenn is currently being treated at a cancer hospital near Detroit, she will be starting chemotherapy soon to treat the cancer that has spread to various areas of her body. I ask for help in relieving some of the burden that comes with treatment and medical expenses. I would have never thought we would have to go through this, but here we are dealing with it the best we know how.

I'm asking for donations to help them manage day to day expenses, travel costs, and the financial strain that comes with a medical crisis such as this.

Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference as Jenn fights for her life, if you're not able to donate we understand and ask that maybe you can share this along with friends and family who may be able to help.All donations go directly to the family as an account has already been made.
