Support Jennifer McCartney's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On December 18, 2024, my sister, Jennifer McCartney, was in a major car accident, in which she totaled her vehicle. She sustained some major injuries. She shattered her right humerus and part of her right shoulder. She had to have surgery to reconstruct her entire right shoulder immediately after Christmas. She can't hold any weight in her hand, not even her cellphone. It's going to be at least eight weeks before she can lift or hold any weight with her shoulder. Once she has healed enough, she will have to start the physical therapy journey. The airbags were deployed, so she also has a fractured orbital bone. She also sustained two fractured vertebrae in her neck. Luckily, she will not have to have surgery on her neck or her orbital bone, but it will have to be continually monitored by the doctors as it heals to make sure there isn't any complications.

Due to the seriousness of the accident, she was not able to return to work and as a result they let her go. This means that she lost her income and also lost her medical insurance. She has all these medical expenses piling up, future doctor visits, and physical therapy, and no way to tackle them financially. She still has a long road to a full recovery and no way to work or earn money at this time.

She will also have to worry about getting another car, so when she is able to return to work, she will have transportation.

2024 was a difficult year for her, and it ended horribly. Please help make 2025 better and help any way you can.
