POST SURGERY UPDATE (STABILIZATION PHASE)

First off, we want to thank everyone for the inspiring love, support and generosity Jennifer has received over the last few weeks. She has undergone three successful surgeries to date with at least another two to go. Your support for Jennifer has truly been inspiring as she navigates this time in her life.

After her latest surgery, doctors have installed an external fixator on her left leg. This is an exterior stabilization frame placed from her knee to the bottom of her foot that will help to stabilize, lengthen, and help regrow her tibia. She will likely have this installed for 2–3 months before undergoing another surgery. Full recovery is likely to take at least a year.

Jennifer's medical bills have started coming in and are going to be more extensive than originally thought. We are raising this Gofundme to help her cover these medical expenses while she is out of work recovering.

Our lives changed drastically on Monday, April 13, 2026 when Jennifer had a major accident while moving into her new home. As you all know, Jennifer is one of the strongest, most loving, and giving person we know.

Jennifer has had two surgeries with another to follow this Friday, 4/24, and multiple to follow, which has resulted in unexpected hospital bills, high insurance deductibles, and loss of income. While we are focusing on her recovery, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

We are aiming to raise money to help cover her transportation to Grady (via helicopter), ongoing surgeries, ongoing medication, and rehabilitation. Any funds raised will go directly towards these expenses and allow Jennifer to focus entirely on healing.
