Jennifer Hudson's Healing Journey

On April 17, 2024, Jennifer was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Jennifer's healing journey will involve a lengthy hospital stay to undergo chemotherapy and additional intensive treatments.

While undergoing treatment and healing, Jennifer will need to take time away from her current job as a kindergarten teacher at Doby's Bridge Elementary in Fort Mill, SC. Previously, Jennifer worked as a teacher at Riverview Elementary and Orchard Park Elementary. Her husband, Chris, has been a FM district employee for many years and is currently a maintenance technician at Fort Mill High School.

We hope to raise the funds necessary to pay for medical expenses and alleviate some of the financial stress for Jennifer and her family (husband Chris and sons; Jayden, 17 and Luke, 15).

Jennifer has shown her students, friends and family so much love and kindness over the years. Let's come together to support her as she begins her healing journey.
