I have created this GoFundMe to help my daughter, Jennifer, and my son-in-law, James, as they journey through the most challenging chapter in their lives. James was diagnosed in April 2025 with Stage 4 Melanoma of the liver. He immediately started immunotherapy, which made him so sick that he was in the hospital for 6 days, losing 40 lbs in less than 3 weeks. After recovering at home with oxygen and pain pills, he has now started a new chemo treatment with pills. We are hoping and praying this will work. It has been a week since he started this treatment, and he has been doing well, praise God!

James can no longer work and was the sole provider for their family of 4. They have two daughters who are both on the autism spectrum. My daughter has had complications with her vision due to diabetes and is no longer able to drive and is also not able to work due to her health issues.

With all that they are going through, the loss of income and uncovered medical expenses, we know that many of you who know and love us would like to help but are not sure how. We hope this will give you a way to participate in carrying them through this challenging time and alleviate some of the financial stress in the months ahead.
