Support Jennifer and her son Wyatt's Recovery Journey

Donation protected
My best friend and teacher colleague experienced a parent's worst nightmare as she was woken up early this morning to find out her 18-year-old son was being flown to a larger hospital as he was in a bad car accident and had experienced head trauma. He is stable for now but has broken multiple ribs, a collarbone, and his T12 Vertebra. The most worrisome is he has a brain bleed and did not receive treatment right away and was unconscious for too long before receiving medical care.

Wyatt has a way to go, but we are staying positive as he is not paralyzed. However, he is not out of the woods yet, and has not been woken up as he is heavily sedated, and will continue to be for several more days. He has a long recovery ahead of him.

His mother, Jennifer, lives about an hour away from this hospital and will have expenses like gas, food, and more to get to him once she is willing to leave his side and for some time after. All those expenses will add up and she doesn’t need to feel the burden while caring for Wyatt and her other son at home as well. Wyatt will also have medical expenses as his journey to healing continues. We are taking one thing at a time and trying to meet her needs along the way.

Please donate to this family and share it to reach a larger audience. Your support is so appreciated!
