Happy New Year, family!! I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and a beautiful New Year's Day with so much hope and faith in our Lord for 2026. I know you all got my first fundraiser a few weeks ago. Just a quick note... This time around, I'm doing this fundraiser from my own account. Last time, unfortunately, some words were either altered or taken out altogether. The other link does not work anymore, and these are all of my words this time ☺️
An update from the first posting: My house is being foreclosed on. My son and I will have to move out in 2 months max. My lawyer is trying to do all he can to keep us in our house as long as possible. We recently had an assessment for my dad to see what kind of care he needs and if I can get paid for the homemaking that I do for him so that I don't have to go to work and stay home daily with my mom to help care for his needs. He was diagnosed with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). This disease is a cousin to Parkinson's disease. It is a terminal illness and will progress really fast. Survivor rates are 5-9 years after diagnosis. The lady who did his assessment will not be done with the final amount of payment for a couple of weeks. What she quoted me that day is not a lot, and that quote would be the most she could get me. If God wills, I'd love to stay home and take care of my dad. If that's not doable right now, please pray the Lord opens doors for a job for me. If anyone knows of anything or has any ideas, please reach out to me.
My divorce will be finalized in the next month. My husband is not paying child support, nor can the child support agency find an employer for him. Pray that he steps up on his own to fulfill his financial obligations like child support and alimony. Both of those would help out tremendously with rent and other bills. Of course, none of that is possible if he can't be found.
The funds raised here will be used for application fees when applying for a new place to live, also security deposit and first month's rent for the new place to live, and any other bills I'm behind on now. Also, I'm not on any social media platforms, so those of you that are, please share our story. It would mean a lot to us to have you spread the word.
If the Lord puts it in your heart to give, please consider helping Givanny and me find a new place to call home. I pray you and yours are blessed physically, mentally, and spiritually this new year. May we give all to our Father first and foremost. Lord, refine us and strengthen us to glorify you in anything that we do. May we continue to come back to our first love daily. Amen
Thank you all for your time and consideration
In God's love, Jennifer & Givanny
