My amazing, strong and beautiful sister Jennifer Manke has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The shocking diagnosis was revealed in late February 2026. What was supposed to be a routine MRI for an unrelated surgery ended up revealing a mass in her pancreas.
Jen's roots run deep. From the friendships forged growing up in Bergenfield and her years at Mansfield University, to the beautiful life and family she's built in Ringwood, the community she's built at Struck Fitness and her connections through the Ridgewood school district, Jen has given so much of herself to others and has always been someone who brings others together. Her kindness, creativity, generosity, and unwavering support have lifted up countless people. Now, it’s our turn to lift her up.
Due to the diagnosis, Jen has had to make the very difficult decision to take an early retirement from her career. During this time, Michael will also need to take time away from work so he can be by her side to support and care for her through treatments and appointments.
A cancer diagnosis brings physical, emotional and unexpected financial strains. This fundraiser has been created to help ease the burden of medical expenses, daily living costs, and will allow for Jen and Michael to focus on what matters most: treatment, healing, and time together with their family.
If you are able, please consider donating today. Early support for Jen and her family will make an immediate and meaningful impact. If you’re not in a position to give, simply sharing this page with others is an incredible way to help.
Most importantly, we ask for your continued prayers, love, and encouragement. These acts of kindness mean more than words can express during this difficult time.
