With heavy hearts as co-workers and friends of Jennie Steele, we are creating this fundraiser to support Jennie and her daughter after the unimaginable and unexpected loss of Jennie's partner, Mark Griffin, on September 13, 2025. Having already endured the devastating loss of her late husband four years ago, Jennie has tirelessly shown up for those at the margins of our community with compassion and understanding. She works in service of and advocates for those experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and those at risk of overdose. It's our turn to give back to Jennie as she navigates this tragedy. All funds will go directly to Jennie to assist with arrangements for Mark's funeral, paying off his outstanding debts, and generally supporting their household with the loss of Mark's income. Every dollar helps, and if you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser with others helps too.
