Support Jennie Patalano's Final Journey

Hello, my name is Lauren Patalano. I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my dad for my beautiful grandmother, Jennie Patalano, who turned 100 in November. I am trying to raise money to help my dad with the financial load of her funeral expenses, since she had no life insurance the financial burden falls on my dad. Jennie was born in Providence in 1924. She moved to Coventry, Rhode Island, in 1960. After residing in Coventry, she moved to her apartment in Warwick at Matthew XXV, where she was a resident for 35 years. Until about a month ago, she lived alone and independently at 100 years old! She was moved to a nursing home because she could no longer live on her own. She is sadly now at the end stage of life and on hospice at a nursing home. She wasn’t ever cheated in life, that is for sure. My grandmother was the best, always telling it how it is, LOVED to sing and dance, and she always had the best jokes. She went out every Saturday when I was a little girl to the Venetian Garden in Oakland Beach, where she would be the star on the dance floor. She has one son, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and two great-great-grandchildren, who she loved all very much. She is comfortable and on hospice meds, just waiting for God to call her home. Thank you in advance for all of your support, our family appreciates any donations. I just wanted to give an update. My grandmother peacefully passed today around 12:30pm. She will now be reunited with her loved ones in heaven. We thank you so much for the support during this hard time. We appreciate all of the donations and can’t thank you all enough ❤️
