My family and I are asking for support for our sister, Jenni Nielsen and her family as they are navigating an incredibly tough time. After having major surgery this past summer, Jenni was diagnosed with multiple brain tumors and just this week found out she will need brain surgery at OHSU in Portland in the coming weeks to remove one of the tumors for fear of malignancy.

For her recovery Jenni will be hospitalized for several days and will be out of work for 6 – 8 weeks at a minimum. As many of you know her husband Brandon is a small business owner and will have to take time off as well to help her with her recovery. With both of them unable to work while she focuses on her recovery, our goal is to help ease the financial strain on her and Brandon. Together, they have three wonderful children, one of whom has special needs and requires extra support. Your support will make a huge difference in their lives during this challenging time.

These donations will help cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and essential family needs during her recovery. OHSU is unfortunately out of Jenni's health insurance network so we are unsure how much her insurance will cover. This is an incredibly tough and scary time for her and her family and any support you can offer is greatly appreciated. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference.
