Aloha Everyone, Im Kelly. Jenna is one of my best friends, and the best friend that anyone could ever dream of or ask for. Im sitting with Brian and some Starbucks at his facility and he is helping me with this.

As many of you know, three and a half years ago, Jenna and Brian’s life changed forever when he was struck by a drunk driver in a hit-and-run while skateboarding. He was left on the road with a severe traumatic brain injury. Most people would have given up hope. Jenna didn’t. She never left his side. She fought to save his life—and she succeeded. Every single day since, she has dedicated herself to Brian’s care and recovery, working tirelessly around the clock to give him the best chance at healing and he's doing it because she has not given up on him and has been there for him constantly. BUT HERE'S THE THING NO ONE ASKS: WHO IS TAKING CARE OF JENNA?

Jenna is the one who lights up every room, the friend who makes strangers feel like family, the person who would give you her last dollar, her last meal, or the shirt off her back without hesitation. She is love in action. She is an Earth Angel. Now, it’s time we show her that same love back.

This GoFundMe is a surprise to Jenna. one that she so deeply deserves. It’s not in her nature to ever ask for help—she just pushes forward, scraping by to pay the bills, the house payment, the endless medical and therapy costs—because Brian comes first. Always. She promised him she’d be there and he would be okay, and she’s kept that promise every single day.

But Jenna is carrying this entire burden on her own. She doesn’t owe much on her home, yet the stress of keeping up with payments of her home and all the bills including Brian's are constant. Her car is aging, but she still drives three to five days a week to get Brian to his therapies, doctor appointments, and takes him out in the community to give him a smile on his face and help heal him. She gives everything she has for Brian, who has behavior with his Injury and yells at Jenna at times draining her, but she stands tall and doesn't back down. She helps him. And she still finds ways to show up for everyone else too. I honestly don't know how she does it all.
