I’m Jenna. And honestly, I never thought I’d be making one of these. I’m going through something that’s completely taken over my life and even though I absolutely love being able to help others, I am now the one that’s asking for help

I’m dealing with a condition called Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). It started after using prescription steroid creams for eczema (which doctors told me were safe). But when I stopped, my body went into full-blown withdrawal. It’s been about 4 1/2 months of constant pain. I can’t work, which has been hard on me financially, I can’t go to the gym, which is something that I absolutely love to do, and I can’t even shower, get dressed, or sleep without my skin cracking, burning, or oozing.

Every day feels like I’m surviving, not living.

Doctors in the U.S. don’t acknowledge this is a real condition, even though it’s caused by the very medications they gave me.

They’ve told me things like:

“Just go back on steroids”

“It’s just eczema”

“You’ll have to wait it out — it could take years”

Why I’m Asking for Help:

I found a clinic in Thailand that actually specializes in TSW with a treatment called CAP Therapy. People from all over the world have gone there — people like me, who were in total survival mode — and they came back better. This will mean moving my life out there for a few months, and I can’t afford that on my own right now since I have been out of work.

• Travel costs to Thailand

• Treatment and therapies at the healing center

• Temporary housing while I’m there

• Pet care for my dogs back home

• Bills I still have to keep up with here (like my car and basic living expenses)

• Food, skincare, and essentials while I’m recovering and unable to work
