Support Jenna's Fight Against Eye Cancer
Donation protected
My niece Jenna Todd was diagnosed on September 8 with Choroidal Melanoma, a rare and serious cancer in her left eye. This has been heartbreaking and devastating for her and her family. Jenna lives in Nevada and the closest medical treatment facility for this type of cancer is UCLA Medical Center. The treatment for this cancer required Jenna to travel back and forth for the last 3 months to satisfy requirements from her insurance provider. By the time surgery was approved in December, the tumor had grown too large for radiation therapy, and they had to remove her eye. Jenna is confident she will defeat this setback and return to the life path she has worked so hard to regain.
Jenna is a beautiful woman and mother of 2 remarkable children. She is raising her son Riley, a 14 year old freshman in high school and her daughter Everlie, a 5 year old bundle of energy, who just started kindergarten. Jenna’s kids are her life. Additionally, Jenna is a talented singer and had just begun to publish her music.
Jenna has been fighting her whole life and has overcome so many obstacles including previous serious health issues. She has committed her life to substance abuse recovery. She is now a strong advocate and voice for those in recovery. She has committed her life to sobriety and it has re-energized her love for music and singing.
All donations will be used to help with costs not covered by insurance for travel and room and board for her cancer treatments in Los Angeles. Surgery to remove her eye, future prosthetics and ongoing evaluations needed to identify if the cancer has spread will be aided by your generous donation.
