As many of our friends and family know, we lost my brother to brain cancer last year. People that knew him knew that he was raising a special needs son, but what we didn't share at that time was that while my brother was battling brain cancer, his son's mother, Jenn Cole, was battling breast cancer. She went through a double mastectomy at the same time that my brother was going through one of his brain surgeries.

Over the last year, she developed a large ovarian tumor that was removed a couple of months ago, only to face another surgery this past week to remove one of the implants used to reconstruct her breasts after the mastectomy because she had a severe case of mastitis under the implant. She will be out of work for several weeks while she recovers, and she needs help covering the bills during that time. She does have a job that she is excited to get back to, but right now her recovery and health are top priority. If you can find it in your heart to help, our family greatly appreciates the support.
