Please help us in supporting Jenn and her family during this difficult time. Here is a message from Jenn...
There are times in life where we all find ourselves waiting to wake up from a nightmare only to find out that it is our reality.
In 1996, Sarah and I were ran over by a car. I was a quadriplegic with Doctors saying there was no hope for healing or recovery. One week prior to the accident, I had told God that I didn’t need him or anyone to tell me what to do or how to live my life. Lying in the hospital bed after weeks of surgeries, unable to move or care for myself, I found comfort in the fact that I could still pray to the same God that I previously thought I didn’t need. Fortunately, my parents had given me the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ. I had zero doubt that he still loved me, cared for me, forgave me and not only had the ability to use my circumstance for good, but also to heal me.
AND HE DID ALL THAT
This week, we have learned that I have a tumor in my lung. We don’t know details regarding where it spread or what the prognosis is. More tests to come, but in the meantime we are keeping our eyes on Jesus.
2 Chronicles 20:12
For we have NO POWER to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.
God is Sovereign. He loves us. We are each wonderfully made. He knows exactly what we need, when we need it. He came back to life from the dead for us. He healed the blind and the sick. He turned water into wine. He healed the lame. He raised the dead. He stopped the bleeding. He parted the waters. He walked on the waters. He’s a God of miracles and a God of healing.
Needless to say, I don’t have a better way of reaching out to those of you who stand beside me with a faith in Jesus and his healing power. So on this platform, we are asking that you GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES AND COME ALONG SIDE US IN PRAYER ASKING HIM FOR A FULL RECOVERY from this.
Thanks to everyone for the support and love and prayers.
