Jenica and Luke here. We want to start off by saying that we recognize that there are a lot of fundraisers out there, and we also recognize that not everyone is able to help. However, whatever help you can give, is very helpful and is much appreciated.

On Tuesday July 1st, we suddenly lost Jenica's mom, Allison. This has thrown us into a bit of a financial strain as we navigate final services, figure out how to cover her part of our rent (we moved her in with us three years ago), and just try to figure out our new normal.

Allison was the center of our household, and while we're thankful that she is no longer in pain, nor dealing with dementia, it's definitely a quieter house and we honestly have no idea of where to start. We just know that it will be a long road.

Neither one of us likes asking for help; we're both pretty headstrong people and more apt to help those around us. However, a very good friend of Allison's and a friend to us as well suggested that we try starting here, with a GoFundMe...to reach out to those around us for a little bit of support.
