At just 28 years old, Jenelle is facing the fight of her life.

Jenelle is a devoted wife, a loving mother to two beautiful young girls, June (3) and Jovie (5 months). Jenelle is and always has been someone who has always shown up for the people she loves. At such a young age, this chapter should be about spending her days raising her babies, making the house they just bought into a home, creating memories, and dreaming about the future with her family, not navigating an aggressive stage II triple-negative breast cancer diagnosis (which is the most aggressive form of breast cancer).

From the moment Jenelle was diagnosed her life shifted. Not only is she bearing the weight of appointments and treatments but also carrying the unimaginable emotional weight that comes with it. While still trying to be present for her daughters who need their mama.

Jenelle is undergoing conventional cancer treatment, which includes six months of high-dose chemotherapy, and then will be followed with surgery and radiation. Jenelle carries the BRCA1 Gene, which is an inherited gene and directly linked to her current diagnosis. To limit the chances of an reoccurrence and to help strengthen her body during conventional treatments, she will be implementing integrative medicine and be receiving care at the Cancer Center For Healing in Irvine, along with conventional treatment.

This is where community comes in.

Because this diagnosis came out of the blue, and she just had her youngest daughter, Jovie (5 months), she did use all of her "flex" hours for maternity leave. Chemo, though it does kill the cancer cells, it also kills your healthy cells. So we know, and are trying to prepare, for any days that Jenelle is not at her best. Again, thats why we are leaning on community. We believe in community showing up for community, especially in moments like this.

Integrative therapies are not covered by insurance. Funds raised will not only go towards her conventional treatments, and the cost associated with them, but also towards her:
