My name is Jermaine Mason, and like Kobe Bryant, I am part of a military family, and I am a “Girl Dad.” Yes, I am the proud father of 4 beautiful girls!
You see this beautiful young lady, Jenelle, above? Well, Jenelle is my 1st born, and she is a true jewel.
Jenelle has so many great qualities, too many great qualities to name here, but I will mention that Jenelle is an Honors student and a natural leader.
In addition to being a great student, she is also an amazing athlete. Jenelle is a rising volleyball star. In fact, Jenelle was the only Freshman on her State Championship winning high school volleyball team.
In order for Jenelle to compete for the next three seasons in the USA Volleyball Carolina Region, Jenelle needs your support! She must raise $36,000 ($12,000 x 3 seasons) in order for her to compete.
Competing at this level will provide many opportunities for her to continue sharpening her skills as well as refine her natural talent in order to stay on the radar of the nation’s top collegiate programs. Scholarships yielding from her academic and athletic talents may be her only means of affording a higher education at a college or university.
As her father, it would break my heart if she had to miss out on opportunities because we aren’t able to afford to pay the cost. However, with your contributions we will be able to cover the cost of Jenelle’s (and a chaperoning family member’s) travel expenses, apparel and equipment.
Her team is counting on her, and so are we.
