Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, our world was turned upside down recently when my daughter, Jenay, had to undergo emergency open-heart surgery. This came as a shock to all of us—Jenay hadn’t been feeling well for months, and as her symptoms worsened, an ER visit revealed she’d suffered a heart attack (NSTEMI). Further tests uncovered an infection in her heart’s left ventricle, which led to an urgent need to replace her aortic valve. Despite extensive testing, the cause of the infection remains a mystery.

Throughout her life, Jenay has faced and overcome many obstacles, and she’s fighting now with that same strength and determination. She is committed to living a long, full life for herself and her daughter, our precious Kali, who depends on her completely as her only living parent. Jenay is a devoted mother who provides everything for Kali, and with this unexpected crisis, she now faces significant medical bills and ongoing financial responsibilities during her recovery.

No one is ever truly prepared for something like this, and any assistance will help ease this financial burden and allow Jenay to focus on healing and caring for Kali.
