Support Jen Rowan's Medical Journey

Hello everyone, my name is Vicki, I am from Illinois, and I am writing this to help my bestie Jen Rowan, with a tough medical situation. As many of you know, Jen has had an uphill battle since September with multiple health concerns. She endured major spinal surgery in early September, which was necessary to correct her symptoms. Some other major concerns came to light in November. She has been under the care of some of the top attending physicians at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Her condition doesn’t have an exact diagnosis, and they are treating her symptoms while she is undergoing

further testing, therapy, and weekly IV infusions. Jen’s body is essentially attacking her peripheral nervous system, making even the simplest of everyday tasks such as walking and other fine motor skills

extremely challenging. Additionally she is unable to drive. Jen is facing these challenges head on with the strength, grace, take no prisoners attitude, and determination she is known for both personally and professionally.

In the coming weeks, Jen is traveling to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota to work with their team of doctors in the hopes of establishing a long-term recovery plan. When they interviewed her and heard about her condition, without hesitation, they immediately invited her to visit their facilities. Jen has been out of work since September and will be on long term disability until she has recovered and is able to return to work.

This Go Fund Me has been set up to assist her with her monthly bills and other medical expenses associated with her care. Those of us who know Jen know she is the kind of person who helps and cares for her family, friends, the dogs she rescues and even strangers whenever needed without even questioning it.
