Dear Friends,
My name is Jen Jones. I am an architect, artist, and mother.
I’m writing to share that I’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer — follicular lymphoma, Stage 3, Grade 2. I’ve begun a six-month course of chemotherapy and antibody treatment.
This comes after a long history of navigating my health, including 30 years living with ulcerative colitis and prior infusion treatments. I’ve always met these challenges with resilience and care—but this new chapter is asking more of me, both physically and financially.
As a self-employed single mother, stepping back from work to focus on healing has created a significant financial challenge. The cost of treatment and ongoing living expenses is more than I can sustainably carry alone right now.
If my architectural work, art, or presence in your life has brought inspiration or beauty, I would be deeply grateful for your support during this time. Your contribution helps me focus on healing, while continuing to support my home and my son.
If financial support isn’t possible, your prayers, kind thoughts, and sharing this page mean just as much.
I’m meeting this with as much courage and tenderness as I can—and I truly feel held by this community.
I already see myself healed, whole, and creating again.
With gratitude,
Jen
