Dear Friends,
My name is Jen Jones. I am an architect, artist, and mother. For 30 years, I've lived with ulcerative colitis, a condition that now requires ongoing medical treatment. Four years ago, I was hospitalized and began receiving chemotherapy IV infusions that have significantly lowered the inflammation and symptoms in my body, allowing me a better quality of life.
Coming from a place of empowerment, I'm addressing this medical condition while facing a significant financial challenge. Until last year, I received reduced medical insurance from the state. As a self-employed person, I now pay out of pocket for health insurance with a high deductible to cover what is classified as a tier 4 drug. These treatments are expensive and have become too difficult to manage as a self-employed single mom to my 17-year-old.
If my architectural work, art, or spiritual perspective has inspired you, I appreciate your consideration in amplifying my healing journey. Your contribution enables me to continue sharing my gifts that bring beauty, balance, and inspiration to our world, while also maintaining stability as a single mother.
I am deeply grateful for your generosity of love and well-wishes. If financial support isn't aligned for you at this time, sharing this page carries the same beautiful energy.
I never imagined I would be asking for this kind of help, but here I am, reaching out to the community and to the generosity of others to help with donations so I may continue these life-saving treatments.
I already see myself healed, whole, and creating again, surrounded by the love of this beautiful community.
In gratitude, Jen
