Support Jen and Her Son After Devastating Fire

Donation protected
On January 8th, 2025, my sister Jen Behar and her 9-year-old son lost their home and all of their belongings in the Eaton fire. They left in a rush Tuesday night with nothing but themselves, their 2 dogs, and their cat. She thought she would be back the next day to pack more if needed or to simply return home. But the next day, when she got word the fire had spread to her Altadena neighborhood on North Raymond, she went back to check on her house and found nothing in its place but a flattened lot, a blackened chimney, and a charred tree. Her house, her possessions, the life she had worked so hard to build for her son, burned to the ground.

Jen is a single mom and one of the most hardworking, generous, selfless people I have ever met. Please consider donating anything you are able (and/or share this page with others) to help her recover and maintain a life for herself and her sweet son, Elliott.
Thank you so much for keeping my struggling sister and nephew in your heart.

With deep gratitude,
Lauren Behar
