A dear staff member of mine recently received devastating news related to her cancer diagnosis. I'm organizing this on behalf of our entire work family. Jen has been an extremely dedicated employee and continued to come to work despite significant pain and fatigue. At just 51 years old and after 5 years of battling metastatic colorectal cancer, she is now unable to work and in the process of initiating hospice.

Jen's young adult daughter is attempting to support her mother throughout this difficult situation while trying to understand it herself. Throughout her inability to work, Jen will continue to have many expenses like rent, medical, veterinary, and groceries.
