Support for Jen and Family

We are reaching out to our community to support our beloved colleague, Jen, whose world has been turned upside down. On Wednesday, Jen's son, who is in 7th grade, experienced a medical emergency and is currently in the ICU at DMHC. He is undergoing extensive testing as doctors work to determine the best path forward. During this incredibly difficult time, she is staying by his side—where any parent would want to be—but it means missing work, losing wages, and facing mounting expenses.

In addition to the emotional toll, the financial strain is growing. Jen and her family are spending money on gas for frequent trips, meals while away from home, and the many unexpected costs that come with a medical emergency. With her son’s recovery prospects and timeline still uncertain, the road ahead is full of unknowns.
