I met Jeff Goddard in college at Chico State, and he quickly became one of my closest friends. Through Jeff, I also got to know Jen—his college sweetheart and later, his wife—who became a dear friend as well. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised two incredible sons, Trenten and Brayden.

Several years ago, Jeff was diagnosed with Huntington’s disease—the same genetic disorder that had taken his father’s life—and sadly, Jeff passed away from the disease. Heartbreakingly, their son, Trenten, was also diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington’s.

Trenten has now reached the end of his journey, and Jen and her family are facing the unimaginable. Jen has spent the last few years caring for Trenten full-time, stepping away from her career to make sure he had all the love and support he needed.

Now, as they navigate this incredibly painful time, Jen could use our help. This fundraiser is to support her and her family with unexpected expenses and costs that have come up during this final chapter.
