I'm writing this with a heavy heart. Jelly, our 13 week old French Bulldog has been admitted to an Emergency Veterinary Hospital and is currently in critical condition after being diagnosed with Parvovirus. She is receiving 24-hour intensive care in hopes of pulling through.
When I was told that the only chance Jelly had at surviving was to admit her to the ICU, I was also told that they couldn't begin treatment until I paid a $5,000 deposit. The estimated total for her hospital stay is between $5,000 and $10,000-or possibly more.
In that moment, I knew I had to do everything l could. I was able to scramble and come up with the deposit, and thanks to that, Jelly has been receiving care over the past 24 hours.
The truth is, l'm not in a financial position to shoulder this kind of emergency. Like many pet parents, I never expected to be faced with a situation like this. I've never been one to ask for help, especially not financially-but right now, l need to.
To be fully transparent, l've posted a copy of Jelly's veterinary bill to show the authenticity of our situation. If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, it would mean the world to me and my family. Your kindness could help save Jelly's life, and we would be forever grateful.
If you're unable to give, please consider sharing this message. And if you believe in the power of prayer, please keep Jelly in yours.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart
