Hello,
I never expected to ask for help like this but life doesn’t always give us a choice.
Over the past several months, my life has been turned upside down by serious medical complications. What was supposed to be a straightforward knee replacement became a long, exhausting battle filled with infections, failed sutures, repeated procedures, insurance delays, and multiple canceled surgery dates.
After months of setbacks, I finally underwent my first knee replacement on January 28. I’m currently in physical therapy three times a week, pushing through pain and slow progress to regain strength. My second knee surgery is scheduled for March 23, and full recovery is still ahead.
During this time, I’ve been unable to work.
I previously supported myself through Uber driving and construction work, but my condition has made both impossible. With no income, the financial pressure has become overwhelming missed car payments, mounting medical bills, basic living expenses, and the very real risk of losing my vehicle, which I’ll need once I’m cleared to work again.
I’ve always been independent. Asking for help is not easy for me. But right now, I’m taking life one day at a time focused on healing and trying to hold everything together until I can work again.
How Your Support Helps
Your contribution will go directly toward:
-Medical and therapy expenses
-Basic living costs
-Keeping my transportation so I can return to work
-Staying financially afloat during recovery
Even sharing this campaign makes a real difference.
If you’re able to help financially or by spreading the word—you’d be giving me more than support. You’d be giving me the chance to recover, rebuild, and stand on my own again once I’m back on my feet.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your kindness truly means more than words can express.
With gratitude,
Jeff
