Hi, my name is Lori Colley and I'm Jeff's youngest sister. Jeff has been battling prostate cancer and it returned about a year ago and had spread to his head then a few months later to his neck/spine area and now down his spine. With all the radiation treatments, it left his throat somewhat paralyzed. They were trying to do a procedure to help with that but with his surgery in May, he was never able or strong enough for another surgery. He lived mostly on nutritional shakes and soft foods. He had a massive surgery back in May that has left him in continuous pain ever since and declined since. They removed a quarter of a tumor to relieve pressure off of the neck/spine. This time around the radiation has taken a toll and they can't keep his sodium levels up. He's fought hard and long and everyone who knows him knows he's a fighter. He was released from the hospital today with hospice and surrounded by his family. Jeff doesn't have enough life insurance to cover burial and some other expenses that we will be left with and he never wanted to be cremated. We are trying to make his wish come true and with our community and friends help, I hope we can grant his last wish. He's still fighting but we are trying to grant his wish when the sad time comes. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and continuous prayers for the family will be greatly appreciated as well.
