*UPDATE - On July 12, Jeff was admitted back into ICU with trouble breathing. His blood pressure was dangerously high then went to dangerously low. He has pneumonia, is sedated and intubated to try and get his body to relax and rest. An MRI with contrast is scheduled today (7/14) for his brain. He was able to go back to work on light duty after his heart attack in April and was doing ok til this past week when he started struggling with his breathing. We know he appreciates all the prayers you can give him!

In a matter of minutes, everything changed for our family. On April 9th, my brother Jeff suffered a life-threatening “widowmaker” heart attack and was rushed to the hospital. On April 13th, he underwent emergency open-heart surgery, including a quadruple bypass and aortic repair to save his life. Jeff was hospitalized until April 21st and now faces at least 12 weeks of recovery and rehab. During this time, he will be unable to work and will need continued care and support.

Jeff is a hardworking man who loves his family and friends. He enjoys playing horseshoes, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with the people he loves most. He is a proud father to his daughter, Larissa, a grandfather to Markus, and a devoted partner to Maggie.
