We could really use a little help keeping our car and our apartment. This past year has been incredibly difficult. My MS flare ups forced me to cancel several convention appearances, my main source of income, and that setback has hit us hard. My husband, Brandon, works full time and gives everything he has, but his paycheck alone can’t cover both our current bills and the ones we’ve fallen behind on.

We’re doing everything we can to stay afloat, but the stress of managing my health while trying to keep up with basic necessities has become overwhelming. Right now, we’re struggling to cover rent and our car payment, which is nearly three months behind and close to repossession. Asking for help is never easy, but at this point, we can’t get through this moment without some support.

As the weather has gotten colder…much colder…my flare ups have intensified, making it hard to walk or even move on some days. There’s no cure for MS, but I refuse to let it define me. I’m determined to keep fighting and stay positive for my husband, our dog Benny, and myself.

Will things get better? Yes. We just need to get over this hump and get ourselves back on our feet.
